Gmail Down!
Gmail seems completely down. I get “Information is temporarily unavailable.” When I try to log into gmail directly I get a red “loading” box at the top right. Sometimes I get a pop up telling me to try again in a few seconds.
Even on the customized Google Home Page, the Gmail section just says that the “Information is temporarily unavailable.” So, for all practical purposes.

Update from Gmail:
We are aware of a problem affecting a subset of our users. Our
engineers are currently working to find a solution. We expect to have
a fix as soon as we can. We appreciate your patience, and we
apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
To clarify, the problem we are referring to in the previous post
concerns a percentage of our users seeing 'Server Errors' and 'Oops'
messages when trying to log in to their Gmail accounts. We realize
that many of you depend on Gmail to communicate and assure you that
all hands are on deck to fix the error. While we do not have an exact
time until resolution to offer, this is currently our top priority and
we'll continue to post updates as they become available.
