Kiko Sells for $258,100
Kiko, the calendar company backed by Paul Graham sells for $258,100!
In the final lap, it looks like there were about five active bidders in the final stages, the original auction was terminated by eBay.
The company recently became talk of the blogs, when the founders decided to cut their losses, and put the company on sale on eBay, Kiko’s angel round was $50,000 in convertible debt.
One of the most interesting parts of this transaction is that eBay along with all the publicity generated about the auction acted as the investment banker for this deal.
Kiko founders’ new idea has already been funded by YCombinator.
