Massive Power Outage At Rackspace's Dallas Data Center
A truck driver drove into a power transformer knocking out power to Rackspace's Dallas hosting facility and shutting down some high-profile blogs in the process.
The truck hit the transformer at about 6pm central time. There's no word on the condition of the driver yet.

Rackspace has a total of eight data centers in San Antonio, Dallas, Austin, northern Virginia and London. Many customers appear to have remained online, presumably because they were hosted in sites other than Dallas. The outage lasted approximately three hours.
