Salim Ismail to Lead Yahoo Incubator
Yahoo has decided to bring in an outsider to head-up its secretive internal incubator division.
Here’s what Ismail had to say on his blog:
Well, after a long hiatus from blogging, I have news. I have officially joined Yahoo!. We’ve been in talks for a while and it all came together recently.
At Yahoo, I’ll be running the Brickhouse, the program spearheaded and created by Caterina Fake, inside Bradley Horowitz’s Advanced Development Division (ADD). The Brickhouse is all about launching ground-breaking new product opportunities - Yahoo Pipes was the first product launched in this style.
