Facebook Redesign Angers Students Over Invaded Privacy

Facebook launched a redesign yesterday which changed the layout of the homepage and introduced a few new features. The users, mostly undergraduate students around the country, find the "News Feed" feature (shown to the right) an invasion of their privacy and "basically creepy." Using the "groups" feature of Facebook to rally together, one user, Ben Parr of Northwestern University, created a group called "Students Against Facebook News Feed." The group's description reads as follows:

Del.icio.us Redesigns And Gets Contextual Ads

Del.icio.us has redesigned yet again, now including screenshots (CommonGate Style?), hot stuff, and more focus on the number of people that have bookmarked the hot sites (Digg Fever?).

After years of going ad-free, del.icio.us has quietly started to integrate contextual search ads from Yahoo Search Marketing. For now, ads only show up when users search the entire index of bookmarks.
